Don't bother with the Metropolitan line as the station is on the other side of town, and only use the Overground if the mainline has problems, as it takes an hour! Watford Junction also has several bus stops serviced by a number of Hertfordshire and London buses. If you choose to drive, Watford is easily accessed from both the M25 & M1 motorways. There is ample car parking close by, or in the town centre which is less than a 10-minute walk from me.
